6th National Book Day Preparation Starts in NBF Islamabad
Islamabad (March18, 2015) National Book Foundation starts its preparation for holding marvelous and historical 6th National Book Day. The NBF 6th National Book Day will commence on 22nd April, 2015 for five days uptill 26th April, 2015 and it is holding at Pak-China Friendship Centre Islamabad.
Announcing the schedule, programmes , date , time and venue, Managing Director NBF, Prof . Dr. Inam-ul-Haq Javeid set the goals and assignments of his team members, he said at this occasion, “ This time, 6th National Book Day will be memorable and marvelous as we have a comprehensive plan of events and functions par excellence there.” He said that renowned scholars, famous personalities, well known writers and NBF Book Ambassadors would attend this important event. He also advised his colleagues of NBF to work hard and leave no stone unturned in keeping up the true spirit of this function. “It is up to us to hold this 6th National Book Day in this year to be historic and memorable,” he desired. For this purpose, the committees for different assignments were formed and in details programmes of this event were discussed there.
The Chief Organizer, Syed Amajd Bokhari and Chief Coordinator Mr. Abdul Majeed Amjad were nominated for holding this book day. The deliberation in detail for doing jobs of each constituted committee for different assignments was made in the meeting where officers and officials in large number were present. The Secretary, NBF Mr. Aftab Soomro also expressed his views and made up his mind on behalf of his team that the National Book Day in this year would be very interesting, charming, colourful and up to its prime objectives. Chief Coordinator Mr. Abdul Majeed Amjad has promised on behalf of traders and industrial communities to extend full cooperation to National Book Foundation in holding this event in befitting manner. The book culture propagation is NBF basic purpose and through holding 6th National Book Day in this year in Pakistan, only for Cherishing this prime objective.
