Dr. Muhammad Ijaz Mairaj is working as Chief Librarian at University of Engineering and Technology (UET), Lahore since December 2013. He is visiting faculty member at Department of Library and Information Science, Minhaj University, Lahore. Before his appointment at UET, he has been worked as Librarian at Punjab Institute of Cardiology, Lahore since March 1995. He is a Higher Education Commission (HEC) Approved Supervisor for PhD and Member of Board of Studies in Library and Information Science at various universities in Pakistan. Dr. Pervaiz Ahmad obtained his master in Library and Information Science from the Islamia University of Bahawalpur, Pakistan in 1992, and PhD in Information Science from the Edith Cowan University, Perth, Australia in 2015. He currently holds the position of Assistant Professor and Incharge, Department of Library and Information Sciences at Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) <www.aiou.edu.pk>, Islamabad. Dr. Khalid Mahmood is Professor. Deanship of Library Affairs, University of Dammam, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Since September 2013). Head, Information, Learning & Research Commons (ILRC). Before this, he served Department of information management as Professor at the University of the Punjab. He has been the president of Pakistan Library Association (PLA) (session 2012–2013). He is the most prolific and the most cited author in the field of library and information science in Pakistan. He did his masters (1989) and PhD (2004) in Library and Information Science (LIS) from the University of the Punjab, Lahore. He also did Masters in Islamic Studies and Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the same university. Dr. Rubina Bhatti is working as Chairperson and Associate Professor at the Department of Library and Information Science, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur. She was awarded the Quide-e-Azam Merit Scholarship by the Pakistan University Grants Commission (now Higher Education Commission) for higher education. Dr. Mirza Muhammad Naseer is an experienced Library and Information Science (LIS) professional. He did his masters in Library Science and PhD in Library and Information Science from the University of the Punjab, Lahore in 1991 and 2012 respectively. He also completed masters in Political Science from the same university in 1993. Dr. Naseer has more than twenty two years professional experience in reputed national organizations such as Ministry of Defense (Government of Pakistan), Fauji Foundation / Foundation University and University of Management and Technology. He started his professional career as a Librarian at Ministry of Defense, Government of Pakistan (October 1992 – January 1997) in Islamabad. Dr. Munazza Jabeen is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Library and Information Science, University of Balochistan, Quetta. She obtained her PhD in Information Management from the Beijing Institute of Technology while, holding the prestigious appellation of distinct scholar from the Chinese Government. Dr. Fabrice Papy is a professor of Information Science at the University of Lorraine, France. He is the head of a multidisciplinary research unit “Digital Document and uses” which studies the impact of digital technologies on social behavior. He publishes regularly on information science, digital library and sociotechnical impacts of ICT. Prof. Papy has obtained his Ph. D in information Science at University Vincennes (Paris 8) in 1995. Since 2008, he is the editor-in-chief of two french journal, “Les Cahiers du Numérique” (Lavoisier SAS) and “Information, Organisation, Connaissances” (ISTE OpenScience). Dr. Widad Mustafa El Hadi is Professor of Information and Documentation Studies at the University of Lille 3, where she is in charge of International Relations and of the Master Diploma program. She holds a PhD in linguistics (multilingual terminologies) from the University of Lyon 2, France. Her main areas of interest are: theoretical approaches to knowledge organization; language & culture and their impact on knowledge organization; knowledge organization systems and their evaluation; cross-language and cross-cultural information retrieval, and, more recently, Digital Humanities. She has been active in ISKO (International Society for Knowledge Organization since 1996, as co-founder of the French ISKO Chapter (with Jacques Maniez) and as the first elected ISKO-France president (1996-2001). She publishes regularly on knowledge organization, digital cultures & digital humanities. Zuza Wiorogórska is Doctor in Information Science and Communication from French and Polish universities, she is an academic librarian at the University of Warsaw Library and an associate member of GERiiCO Research Team at the University of Lille 3, France. Her research experience in France and Poland resulted in twenty-five publications, including ten papers in peer-reviewed journals in English, French, and Polish, mainly on information literacy, users of information, and knowledge sharing. She serves a reviewer for two Polish and one international journal on librarianship and information science. She has also been a program committee member of the European Conference on Information Literacy (ECIL 2014 and 2015) and a scientific committee member of South Asian Libraries Conference (SALC 2015). She is a member of several international association, including a membership of IFLA Information Literacy Section and a co-founder and a secretary of Information Literacy Committee within the Polish Librarians’ Association. Dr. Maria Cahill is an assistant professor in the School of Information Science, College of Communication and Information and the Department of Educational Leadership Studies, College of Education at the University of Kentucky in the United States. Dr. Md. Zahid Hossain Shoeb is Deputy Librarian (Systems & Instruction) in the Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB). Ms. Azra Rafique is currently serving as Senior Librarian in the National Library of Engineering Sciences, University of Engineering & Technology, Lahore.
