is organizing a one day seminar on December 10, 2015
at the Auditorium, Goethe Institute, Karachi. The title of the seminar is
“Current Practices for the preservation of intellectual heritage of Sindh: Problems faced & the way ahead.”
The objective of the seminar is to bring together on conceptual lines experts from all the major institutions in Sindh working at libraries, archives and museums either to participate in or attend this seminar and to ponder over the important issues related to the preservation of intellectual heritage of Sindh, progress therein and the challenges faced. We aim to discuss in detail the current state and practices in vogue for the preservation of historical documents, rare books & manuscripts in the Sindh province.
Who can Attend: Librarians, Archivists and Museologists interested in the preservation of intellectual heritage or practitioners who like to improve their understanding of the intellectual heritage collection, preservation projects, challenges and solutions.
