is pleased to invite you to attend a Seminar jointly organized by PLA- Sindh, Goethe Institut & FHS Library, Aga Khan University on
“Public Libraries in Sindh: Importance, current status and challenges”
on Saturday, March 19, 2016 | 9:00 am – 4:00 pm at Auditorium, Aga Khan University, Karachi
The objective of this seminar is to bring together key stakeholders working with Public Libraries in the Sindh Province including, representatives from Private sector libraries, the NGO sector libraries, and the International library agencies, Directorates of Libraries Govt. of Sindh, Libraries in the Culture, Information and Local Government departments. The experts will contribute by reading papers on the importance, current state and challenges faced by the Public Libraries in Sindh Province, with an introduction to the collection, services of their respective libraries and library systems.
Who should attend: Librarians serving at Public Libraries, Library & Information Science Professionals, Academics, Library friends, and people working for the promotion of a reading culture in society.
